An alternative to RadReport: compare Laudos.AI

Laudos.AI delivers the report; RadReport delivers an editor. In RadReport, the physician assembles the text with templates, model phrases and AI functions charged in credits on every call. In Laudos.AI, the physician dictates findings in natural speech and receives the complete report in their own template, with no per-call credits, cited classifications (GUIDE), LaudAI on WhatsApp, RIS integration and the work that continues after signing: critical findings (CRIT), peer review, follow-up and claim denial risk (RADAR).

What is the difference between RadReport and Laudos.AI in 2026?

Both serve physicians who report imaging studies in Brazil, but they solve different parts of the work. RadReport is a text editor with a library of templates, model phrases and seven AI functions the physician triggers one at a time. Laudos.AI starts from the dictated findings and returns the entire structured report for review and signing, then continues after signing with critical findings, peer review and billing checks.

Dictation with commands or natural speech?

In RadReport, dictation writes where the cursor is and punctuation comes in by spoken command. Then the physician triggers the AI to generate the conclusion, classify or review. Each step is a separate call.

In Laudos.AI, the physician speaks the way they reason through the case, out of order and with pauses, and dictates only what is abnormal. REPORT replaces the template's normal text, organizes technique, findings and impression, and shows the classification criteria next to the finding. The report follows the structure of the physician's template, and the physician checks title, labels and order before signing.

RadReport FreeBRL 0Not applicable20 AI credits per month.
RadReport EssencialBRL 89.90BRL 799.00250 AI credits per month; limited AI.
RadReport EspecialistaBRL 169.90BRL 1,499.001,500 AI credits per month.

Laudos.AI ProBRL 299/monthNo annual commitmentUp to 1,000 reports per month, with no per-call AI charge, templates set up by the team, memory of how you report, GUIDE and LaudAI on WhatsApp.

In RadReport, the monthly credit quota renews each cycle and does not roll over; when it runs out, the physician buys a top-up. The web RIS extension requires the Especialista or Clínica Diagnóstico Pro plan. In Laudos.AI, dictation, generation and voice editing are part of Pro, and the complete report comes out from the findings. Institutions receive their own proposal on the pricing.

Integration: a phrase extension or the report in the RIS

RadReport documentation states that the platform does not read DICOM images or connect to PACS, RIS or HIS; text is dictated or typed in the editor, and the RadReport Clip extension pastes phrases and templates into web text fields.

Laudos.AI does not read images either: the radiologist interprets the study. The difference is where the report goes. The Laudos.AI Agent takes the finished report into the web RIS, and institutional deployments connect PACS, RIS and worklist through open standards, with compatibility validated by system and version. See the integrations.

What happens after signing

A signed report can still contain a critical finding with no recorded communication, laterality that differs between description and conclusion, a follow-up recommendation with no owner, or contrast in the report that does not match the billing. The CRIT controls critical finding communication with deadlines and escalation. The RADAR finds the rest before it becomes a claim denial or an adverse event. Nothing equivalent appears on the RadReport public pages checked on October 20, 2026.

How to compare both on the same case

  1. Choose five exams from your routine, including at least one critical finding and one measurement in three axes.
  2. Dictate the same findings in both tools, the way you speak on shift.
  3. Count the corrections until the report is ready to sign: omission, addition, laterality, measurement and structure.
  4. Record how many actions each report required: commands, clicks and AI calls.
  5. Take the report into your RIS and check formatting, signing and what happens to the critical finding.

In both tools, the physician interprets the exam and signs the report, as required by CFM Resolution 2,454/2026. The difference is how much work is left between dictating and signing.

For the trial, the Laudos.AI team sets up your templates. Individual Pro costs BRL 299/month, with up to 1,000 reports per month. The new-user trial ends after 14 days or up to 30 reports, whichever comes first. Institutions receive a proposal with scope, integration and pilot conditions defined in writing.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose Laudos.AI over RadReport?

Because Laudos.AI delivers the complete report from findings dictated in natural speech, in the physician's template, with no per-call AI charge, and covers what RadReport does not publicly describe: RIS integration, critical findings (CRIT), peer review, follow-up and claim denial risk (RADAR), and reporting via WhatsApp (LaudAI).

Is RadReport cheaper than Laudos.AI?

On sticker price, yes: RadReport has a free plan with 20 AI credits per month and plans from BRL 89.90 to BRL 289.90 per month. The difference is what the fee covers. In RadReport, each AI function consumes credits from a monthly quota that does not roll over, and the web RIS extension requires a paid plan. On Laudos.AI Pro (BRL 299/month, up to 1,000 reports), AI is not charged per call and the complete report comes out from the findings.

Does RadReport integrate with PACS or RIS?

According to RadReport's public documentation, accessed on October 20, 2026, there is no direct integration with PACS, RIS or HIS. The RadReport Clip extension inserts phrases and templates into web text fields. Laudos.AI takes the report into the web RIS through the Agent and integrates institutions via HL7 v2, FHIR R4 and DICOM-SR, validated per deployment.

Does Laudos.AI have a free trial and public pricing?

Yes. The trial is 14 days or up to 30 reports, whichever comes first, no card and no automatic charge. The Pro plan costs BRL 299/month for up to 1,000 reports per month, with no commitment. Institutions receive a proposal and can apply for the free pilot.

Is Laudos.AI faster than RadReport?

Laudos.AI publishes the measurement: a median of 52 s from editor to signature across 5,200 production reports, with 54.6% signed in under 1 minute and open methodology. On the RadReport public pages checked on October 20, 2026, there is no time measurement. The workflows are different: in RadReport, the physician dictates with commands and triggers the AI step by step; in Laudos.AI, the physician dictates the findings and the report comes out ready to review and sign.
