LEGAL

Terms of Use

The platform's rules of use, in plain language. The full institutional contract prevails for contracting institutions.

In short, without legalese

  • DOES THE AI SIGN?Never. Whoever signs is accountable, and the one who signs is the physician
  • CFM RISKMedium, under CFM Resolution 2.454/2026
  • IS IT SaMD?Not SaMD (Software as a Medical Device)
  • WHO OWNS THE REPORT?The institution and the authoring physician. The software is ours
  • SHARED ACCOUNT?Prohibited: it breaks the audit trail that protects you
  • DOES YOUR DATA TRAIN AI?No. It is in the contract and in the architecture
  • IF SOMETHING GOES DOWN?Availability targets in the contract and proactive communication

1. Nature of the service

Laudos.AI is an assistive Speech-to-Report application, publicly classified as medium risk under CFM Resolution 2.454/2026. It is not SaMD (Software as a Medical Device), does not interpret images, does not make autonomous diagnoses, and does not sign or release reports autonomously.

2. Medical responsibility

Every report is reviewed, edited and signed by a licensed physician. Authorship of and responsibility for the report belong to the signing radiologist, in compliance with CFM Resolution 2.454/2026.

3. Accounts and access

Access is personal and non-transferable, linked to the contracting institution. Shared credentials violate these terms and compromise the audit trail.

4. Acceptable use

It is prohibited to use the platform outside the contracted care context, to attempt to extract models or third-party data, or to submit content without a legal basis for processing.

5. Intellectual property and licenses

The platform and its proprietary elements remain with their owners. RadCommons and LaiBench are governed by the LICENSE files of their respective repositories; these Terms neither expand nor reduce those licenses. Reports and templates follow the contract and the rights of their authors and institutions.

6. Availability and support

We work with availability targets defined in the institutional contract, with proactive communication of incidents and maintenance through the status page and by email.

7. Changes to these terms

Relevant changes are communicated in advance to contracting institutions. The current version is always on this page.

8. Contact
