He doubled his output without working any faster
C.A.I.S. opened a Laudos.AI account in January and signed 15 reports in four days, just trying it out. In August he signed 1,048. That is almost four thousand reports in seven months, nearly all ultrasound, with a strong musculoskeletal share. What changed was not the speed of his hands. It was the time he spent fixing text.
Any model can write a first draft. The physician's time goes into review.
Before the nice number, the boring part
He also started working more: 59 hours a month in February, 188 in August. Part of the growth is that, and we would rather show it than sweep it under the rug. What matters is what is left after you take the hours out of the equation.
In February he produced 3.6 reports per hour. In August, 5.6. That is 56% more on the same clock.

From February to May, output per hour stood still. It only takes off in June, the fourth month of use.
- 59 h → 188 h of hours worked per month, February to August. That slice of the growth is his, not ours.
- 3.6 → 5.6 reports per hour within those hours. That slice is what the tool delivered.
The whole gain fits in three minutes
The time between one patient and the next fell from 8.4 minutes to 5.4. Ultrasound is operator dependent, so that clock captures the whole cycle: call, examine, write, sign. Across the 1,048 exams of August, that is 52 hours.
And three minutes per patient become one of two things. The schedule decides which.
- They become exams. In the same 188 hours of August: 677 reports at the old pace versus 1,048 today — 371 more exams.
- They become free hours. For the same 1,048 reports: 291 h at the old pace versus 188 h today — 103 hours back, thirteen eight-hour workdays.
What the first scenario is worth
It depends on the fee per exam. On the 371 extra exams:

At a R$ 35 fee, that is R$ 155,820 more per year. Without hiring anyone, without changing PACS and without touching the exam price.
The tool did not get better. It became his.
Four months of flat curve and then a jump is not luck. It is the normal shape of someone teaching a system to write like themselves. By June his account had already accumulated this:
- 21 templates written by him
- 1,000 ready-made phrases in his personal bank
- about 30,000 records of how he writes and which terms he uses
Review only gets shorter when the text already comes out the way he would sign it, in his template, with his words. That does not come from a better model. It comes from your own material, accumulated month after month. That is why Laudos.AI gets faster the more you use it, and why his August number is not his February number.

Methodology
Laudos.AI production data, one account, extracted on August 29, 2026 with the account holder's authorization. Hours worked are the interval between the first and the last report of each day, summed over the month, which includes breaks and keeps the reports-per-hour metric conservative. The gap between exams is the median of the differences between consecutive reports, discarding gaps above 45 minutes. The projection applies February's pace to August's actual hours. August covers 29 of 31 days.
No patient data was accessed; the database does not store patient names. Result of one account over seven months of continuous use. It is not a promise of performance: each user's gain depends on exam mix, volume and their own accumulated material. Laudos.AI acts on the text of the report. Reading the image, the clinical decision and the signature are always the physician's.
